Shaving my head for charity

So a while back I got talked into shaving my head for charity. At the time, I really didn't think much of it. But now that it's only 30 days away, I'm really starting to have second thoughts. I got my last haircut today before that fateful day on April 30. This cause is definitely a very worthwhile cause...and 100% of the proceeds go towards this cause. You are probably wondering what this cause is. Well, let me tell you... A 17 year-old coworker of mine has needed a liver tranlplant since from a very early age she's had syrosis (Is that how you spell it?) of the liver. She finally got first on the waiting list and went to Edmonton 2 weeks ago to have her transplant. However, she will end up being in Edmonton for over 3 months when is all and said and done after having all her follow-up procedures etc. Seeing as how she and her family live here in Regina, her family will need approximately $30,000. Her highschool has raised $10,000 so far which I think is absolutely incredible. The grocery store I work at has raised $13,000 so far, but we still have to raise more money. We're having a steak night right away, and then on April 30 myself and a woman I work will be shaving our heads if we raise a certain amount of money...probably $3000. The way I see it, hair grows back...livers don't. So if anyone actually reads this, feel free to make a donation (big or small) at the Regent Park Safeway, here in Regina.
